SsangYong Motor Company cruised to Britain’s best performance car manufacturer following a survey of over 10,000 car owners. Participants rated the Korean car manufacturers highly on the Honest John Satisfaction Index 2018, praising the company exceedingly for its reliability, practicality and ease of use.
Ssangyong acquired a rating of an impressive 90.3% in customer satisfaction among its owners, notably being the only brand to exceed the 90% mark. Car owners within the survey assessed each vehicle over a number of points including; reliability, ride comfort, fuel economy, practicality and performance. Owners also ranked their cars for build quality, ease of use and safety.
The fantastic result for SsangYong has been a consequence of the excellent work, impressive initiative and technological advancement by the Korean company. Following the acquisition of SsangYong, Indian corporation Mahindra & Mahindra, invested substantial funds and manpower into the Korean company, eager to utilize the brands identity to escalate their potential.
This investment appears to be paying off. Over the last few years SsangYong has quickly re-forged a name for itself on the streets, particularly praised for its excellent range of SUVs and rugged four-wheel drive tech. The Korean company has also impressed drivers with their new Rexton, Tivoli, Tivoli XLV, Korando and Turismo, all being very well received by car enthusiasts and critics alike.
While the award was humbly accepted by SsangYong, the Korean team will be looking to use this acknowledgment of their accomplishments over the last few years, as a foundation to continue building on.
